The grave concentration report reads Prisoner of War. According to the book of Robert W. Catsburg, Polar Bears in Nispen en Roosendaal, most lickely Private Stanley Ernest Head was part of a group of 42 Prisoners of War taken by the Germans during the battle of Hulsdonk between 28 October and 30 October 1944. Probably he was left behind by the Germans in a Hospital at Dordrecht and died of wounds.
